                              SACRED LITURGY CONFERENCE
The Sacred Liturgy Conference is excited to share details with you about the upcoming Sacred Liturgy Conference to be held in Salem from June 27 –30, 2018. Building upon last year’s conference they will have another wonderful group of speakers including Bishop Athanasius Schneider from Astana, Kazakhstan, Rev. Cassian Folsom, OSB from Norcia, Italy, Bishop James D. Conley from Lincoln, NE and many other distinguished presenters.  The talks will be held at the Salem Convention Center and the liturgies at St. Joseph Catholic Church a short distance away. The opening night Pontifical High Mass will be celebrated in the Ordinary Form by The Most Reverend Alexander K. Sample, Archbishop of Portland. Thursday a Solemn High Mass for the “Vigil of Pentecost” will be celebrated in the Dominican Rite by Rev. Gabriel Mosher, OP. Friday night His Excellency Athanasius Schneider will celebrate a Pontifical High Mass in the Extraordinary Form for “The Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul”. The concluding Mass on Saturday will be a Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form celebrated by Rev. Gerard Saguto, FSSP. An outdoor procession will immediately follow the closing Mass.  In addition to the 12 lecture presentations, Alex Begin will conduct workshops for priests, deacons and seminarians on celebrating the Extraordinary Form of the Mass and Nicholas Lemme will lead his very popular workshops on learning the basics of chant.  The conference is open to anyone interested in the treasures of the Catholic faith, and promises to be intellectually, liturgically, and spiritually enriching.  Please visit the website, www.sacredliturgyconference.org, for more details and take advantage of the Early Bird Special which will save you $50 if you register by March 1, 2018.​
